Record made in MovieMax, beat big stars
According to the latest figures, till 11:15 am on Wednesday, ‘Saiyaara’ has sold 2,059 tickets in 19 theaters and 77 screens of MovieMax alone. This achievement is special because the film is still two days away from release. Usually, there is a big jump in ticket sales on Wednesday and Thursday, so it is expected that this figure can reach 5000 to 6000.
At present, this film is at 28th position in terms of advance booking in MovieMax. The films above this include big films like Jurassic World: Rebirth, Fighter, Kalki 2898 AD, Dunki, Brahmastra, Singham Again, Jawan, Animal, Stree 2, Chhaava, and Pushpa 2.
But the surprising thing is that ‘Saiyaara’ has left behind films like Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Sitaare Zameen Par, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Kesari Chapter 2. All these films started with an opening of more than 10 crores. In such a situation, it would not be wrong to say that ‘Saiyaara’ can also have a double-digit opening.

Not just MovieMax, but the film is also doing well in PVR Inox and Cinepolis. By 11 am on Wednesday, Saiyaara has sold 33,500 tickets at PVR Inox and 11,500 at Cinepolis, taking the total to 45,000 tickets. This is a great start for the film and clearly indicates that it can earn big at the box office after release.
